Hindustan Steel Suppliers is located at Shop No 5, on Plot No 32/38. We are right by the S K Masjid and not far from the Gupta Bhavan Building. It’s a busy, industrial kind of area, which makes sense for what we do. The shop is full of metal, as you might expect, and there’s always a bit of dust in the air. We’ve been here for years, dealing with all sorts of steel products. It’s a heavy job, and we spend a lot of time moving things around or checking inventory. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's just the warehouse space and a small area where we handle the billing and talk to customers. People come in looking for specific sizes or types of steel for their projects. We tell them what we have and what we can get. It’s straightforward work. Sometimes the trucks are late or the weather makes it hard to move the stock, but we deal with it as it comes. My crew and I have been working together a long time, so we have a rhythm. It’s noisy and sometimes the phone rings and nobody can hear it over the sound of metal being moved, but that’s life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just a reliable place where people can get their steel without any nonsense or drama. We keep the gates open and just get through the day's orders.
