Hiltop Hotel

Hiltop Hotel is tucked away at A/8, Jaihind Niwas, which is right behind the Anandbaba Ashram in Mohili Village. We are in the Sakinaka area of Mumbai, pin code 72. It’s not one of those big luxury hotels you see in the magazines. It's more of a practical place for people to stay when they are in this part of the city. Being behind the ashram makes it a little quieter than the main Sakinaka roads, which are always packed with cars and people. We have been here at Jaihind Niwas for years. The rooms are simple and we try to keep things clean and tidy for whoever comes through. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you won't find a concierge in a uniform or a huge lobby. Just us helping out. Most of our guests are people working nearby or visiting family in Mohili Village. We don't put out many ads; word of mouth is usually how people find us. The neighborhood is very local, and we like being part of it. If you are looking for a spot to crash without paying for a bunch of extra stuff you don't need, that's what we offer. Just a room and a place to rest in the middle of Mumbai’s busy life. The fan in the reception makes a bit of noise, but it works.
