High Point

High Point is situated right on the Andheri-Kurla Road, at units 1 and 2. If you know that road, you know it never really sleeps. There’s always a bus, a rickshaw, or a truck rumbling past the front door. Having the two units side by side gives us a bit of a presence on the street, but it also means twice as much cleaning because of all the soot and dust from the heavy traffic. We spend a lot of our time just managing the space. The front of the shop is where everything happens, while the back is more for storage and taking a break when it gets too much. It gets really crowded during the rush hours, and we just have to stay focused to make sure everyone is taken care of. There’s no time for fancy talk or complicated systems. We just use what works and keep the line moving. The floor is concrete and the walls are just plain, which makes it easier to maintain. We see thousands of people walk past every single day, and some of them have been stopping by for years. It’s a loud, fast-paced environment, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the Andheri-Kurla Road. We just keep our heads down and do what needs to be done every day.
