You can find us at Number 102 in Vypar Bhavan, which is at 368/70 Narsinatha Street. Hetampuria Impex Pvt. Ltd. has been in this building for a long time. Narsinatha Street is one of those places that is always packed with people and trucks, so it feels very energetic, if a bit chaotic. Our office is a single large room where we do everything. We have a couple of desks for the computers and a large wooden table in the middle where we spread out all the shipping maps and documents. It’s a bit of a messy place, but we know exactly where every piece of paper is. Most of our work involves dealing with the logistics of importing and exporting goods, which means we spend a lot of time on the phone with port authorities and transport companies. It’s not always easy, especially when there are delays, but we’ve learned how to handle it over the years. We usually have lunch together in the office, bringing tiffins from home and talking about the news or what’s happening in the market. We don't have any interest in being a big, fancy company with lots of rules. We just like to do our work, treat people fairly, and keep things moving. The building is usually buzzing with activity from all the other offices, and we’ve made some good friends here. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know.
