Hetal Optics

Our shop is located in Borivali West, specifically at Shop No 8 inside Shailesh Apartment. We are right in the Bhendi Bazar area, just across from the Ram Mandir. It is a good spot because people usually stop by after they visit the temple. We have been selling glasses and frames here for a good long time now. The shop is small and we have shelves lined up with all kinds of spectacles. Some are simple and some are a bit more modern, but we try to keep a bit of everything for the people who live around here. My father started this and now we just keep it going as a family thing. We don't have a big staff, usually it is just one or two of us behind the counter. We do eye checks and help people find frames that don't fall off their faces. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons when the school kids come by with their parents. We have a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. It’s nothing too special, just a regular optics shop where we know most of our customers by their first names. We like being part of the community in Borivali. Sometimes we just sit and watch the traffic go by the temple when things are slow. It’s a honest job and we take it one day at a time.
