Herbertsons Limited

We are located on the first floor of Ewart House, over at 22 Homi Mody Street in the Fort area. If you’ve spent any time in Fort, you know these old buildings have a lot of character. Herbertsons Limited has been in this spot for a while. The stairs up to the first floor are made of heavy stone and they are a bit narrow. Inside, the ceilings are high, which is nice, but it makes it hard to keep the place cool during the peak of summer. We have these big windows that look out onto the street, and you can see the crowds of people rushing to and from their offices all day long. It is a busy part of Mumbai, and there is a certain energy to it that you don't find elsewhere. Our office is a mix of old wooden furniture and some newer computers we brought in recently. It feels a bit cramped sometimes because we have so many files and boxes tucked away in the corners. There is always the sound of printers going or someone talking loudly on their mobile. We don't really go for a polished look here; it is more about having a place that works for what we need to do. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we all know each other’s habits and who makes the best tea in the afternoon.
