Hemani & Company

You can find Hemani & Company over at Plot No. 285, right near the Victoria Over Bridge. We are directly across from the Britania Biscuit Co. plant in Darukhana. On some days, if the wind is blowing the right way, you can actually smell the biscuits being baked, which is probably the best part of being in this industrial neighborhood. This area is mostly about heavy work and old buildings. Our place is no different. It’s a bit of a rugged spot, with trucks moving in and out of the bridge area all day long. Inside, things are fairly basic. We have heavy metal desks and stacks of ledgers. It gets quite dusty because of all the activity on the road, so we are always wiping things down. We've been in Darukhana for a long time, and we know most of the people working in the nearby plots. It’s a gritty part of town, but it has a lot of history. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles here. We just come in, do what needs to be done, and deal with the logistics of the day. The office feels a bit cramped when everyone is in at once, but we make it work. It’s an honest place where the focus is on the day-to-day grind rather than making things look pretty for visitors.
