Heer Bags

We are located at 87 Mapla Building, which is quite near the City Center and the Masjid. It’s a very busy part of the city, so there is never a quiet moment outside. We have a lot of bags here, mostly the kind you see people carrying on the train or walking to work. The building itself is quite old, with high ceilings and thick walls that keep it a little cooler in the summer. We have bags hanging from almost every available inch of wall space. It can be a bit overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it, but we know exactly where every item is located. The street noise is quite loud, so we often have to speak up when talking to customers. We spend a lot of time unpacking boxes and checking zippers to make sure everything works like it should. It’s a straightforward way to work. We get the bags, we put them on display, and we sell them. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit. We don’t have a website or anything like that; people just see the bags when they walk past the Mapla Building. It’s a local way of doing things. We take our breaks when the street gets a little less crowded in the afternoon. It’s been our daily routine for a long time.
