Our office for Hawak Industries Pvt Ltd is way up on the 17th floor of the B-Wing in Mittal Towers. It’s located at 210 Nariman Point, which is a very famous part of Mumbai for business. Even though it's a prestigious address, inside our office it's just a lot of hard work and files. The best part about being so high up is the view of the Arabian Sea, though we often don't have much time to look at it because of all the emails and phone calls. The elevators in Mittal Towers can be a real test of patience, especially during the morning rush or at lunchtime when everyone is trying to get out at once. We deal with various industrial matters, and our desks are usually covered in technical drawings or supply lists. It’s not a very quiet place because there is always someone talking or a machine humming in the background. We have a small pantry where we make our own coffee and share stories about the commute, which can be pretty long for some of us. We don't really go for the polished corporate look; we’ve got folders stacked on the floor and posters that are a bit crooked on the walls. It’s a real working environment where we focus on getting the job done rather than how the office looks. We’ve been at Nariman Point for years and have seen the skyline change, but our routine stays pretty much the same.
