I operate out of Flat No 605 in the D Wing of N G Suncity Phase 2. This is over in Thakur Village, Kandivali East, right near the Farid Estate. It’s a residential area, so it’s usually quieter than the main roads. I’ve set up a workspace in one of the rooms with a desk, my laptop, and a printer that sometimes needs a bit of a push to work. It’s just me here most of the time. I start the day by checking messages and making a list of what needs to get done. My desk is often covered in notes and old coffee mugs. It isn’t a polished office with a receptionist. When someone calls, they talk directly to me. I handle the schedules and the actual work myself. Sometimes I take meetings at the small table near the window. You can see the other buildings in the complex from here. I like the independence of working this way. It’s honest and straightforward without all the extra overhead of a big commercial space. I take breaks to walk down to the local shops for a bite or some fresh air. It’s a simple setup that allows me to focus on the tasks at hand. People seem to like the personal touch of dealing with one person. I just get through the pile of things on my desk and finish up for the day.
