Our shop, Harjeet Singh Marwah Metals, is located at Shop No.24 on Central Avenue Road. It’s easy to spot if you know where Methi Hospital is, since we are right near there. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of heavy vehicles moving through all day long. We deal with all sorts of metal here, and the place usually has that specific smell of iron and dust. It’s a family name on the sign, and we take that seriously even if we don't say much about it. The work is physically hard, lifting heavy pieces and moving stock around the shop. Our hands are usually stained from the materials, and the floor is never really clean no matter how much we sweep. We get customers looking for specific parts or just wanting to sell what they’ve gathered. Some days are slower than others, and we just sit outside on a stool watching the ambulances head toward the hospital. It’s a noisy street, but you get used to the sound of horns and engines after a few weeks. We aren't here to give anyone a sales pitch. If we have what you need, we’ll show it to you. If not, we might know who does. That’s just how we run things here on Central Avenue Road. It’s about getting through the day and doing the work right without too much fuss.
