Haresh Tea Center

Haresh Tea Center is located at Borivali East on Carter Road Number 2, house number 7. It’s a small shop, mostly just a stove and a bunch of glasses. I start the first pot of tea around six in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Borivali East is a busy neighborhood and people are always rushing to the station. We get the same group of men every morning who sit on the stools and talk about the news. I don't say much, just keep the kettle going. The walls are a bit stained from the steam and the smoke over the years. We don't have a menu because everyone knows what we serve. It’s just tea and maybe some biscuits if we have them in stock. The address is easy to find once you are on Carter Road. We don’t have a big staff, just me and a boy who helps wash the glasses. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we just have to tell people to wait. We don't have any big plans to expand or move. This little spot at number 7 is enough for us. It gets loud when the school nearby lets out, but otherwise, it’s just the sound of the stove. We aren't a fancy cafe. We’re just a tea center. We’ve been here a long time and the neighborhood knows us.
