Our office is over on Grant Road, right on the second floor of the A/2 building. It is an older part of town, so things can get pretty crowded out on the street, especially with the police station being so close by. We have been operating from this space for a long time, handling all the different paperwork and phone calls that come with the import and export trade. It is a modest setup and nothing too flashy to look at. You have to walk up the stairs to get to the second floor, and sometimes the landing gets a bit cluttered with boxes and files waiting to be moved. We spend most of our hours talking to various suppliers or trying to track down where certain shipments have ended up. It takes a lot of coordination to keep things straight. There is a desk for everyone and a few old filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days. Working near the station means there is always something happening outside the window, but once we are inside, we just focus on the tasks we have for the day. We are not a big corporation or anything like that, just a few people making sure goods get where they are supposed to go. It is steady work and we like being in this part of the city because everything is easy to reach. Some days are quieter than others, but usually we are just busy.
