Our office is Shop No. 1, tucked behind the Sing Estate near the Andheri Kurla Road. Sakinaka is a very loud and crowded part of Andheri, but we have found our little corner here. We do design work and consulting, which mostly means we spend a lot of time at our desks with drawings and plans. It’s not a fancy studio with mood lighting. It’s just a regular shop with some computers and a lot of paper everywhere. Sometimes we have clients coming in to talk about their projects, and we have to clear off a chair for them to sit. We’ve been in this spot for several years and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit with the metro and everything. It is a bit of a maze to find us if you don't know the estate. We don't use a lot of corporate talk or big promises. We just look at what needs to be done and try to figure out a design that works. Sometimes we argue about the best way to do things, but we usually figure it out by lunchtime. We are just a small team trying to do good work in a busy city. It is often stressful with deadlines, but we like the challenge of it. You won't find us in a high-rise building, just here in Sakinaka.
