Gulfpersonnel

Our office for Gulfpersonnel is up on the 12th floor. Specifically, it is 1201 C in the Lokhandwala Residency. We are right on Manjerekar Lane in Worli. Being up that high gives you a bit of a view, though mostly we are just looking at the other buildings around us. Worli is a fast part of Mumbai, and you can feel it even from the elevator ride up. The residency is a decent place, but we spend most of our time inside the office staring at files. We aren't trying to be anything fancy, even if the address sounds a bit formal. It’s just a place where we sit down and try to connect people with jobs. The hallway is usually quiet until someone comes in for a meeting. We drink a lot of coffee to keep going. The lane outside can be a nightmare for parking, which is just how things are in this part of town. Gulfpersonnel is basically a small team working out of this apartment-style setup. Sometimes the lift takes forever, and we end up chatting with the security guards downstairs. It is a regular job in a regular part of a very busy city. We keep the lights on late sometimes when the work piles up. There is no big mission statement on the wall, just a calendar and some notes stuck to the monitors. We just keep at it.
