Gs Caltex India is tucked away in the 215 Atrium building. We are specifically in the C Wing, room 816. If you know the Andheri-Kurla Road, you know the traffic is something else entirely. Most of us spend a good chunk of the morning just trying to get through the Chakala area. Once we are in the office, it is mostly paperwork and phone calls about oils and lubricants. It is a typical office setup with desks, some old computers, and a few filing cabinets. We have a view of the street from some of the windows, but mostly we are just looking at spreadsheets all day. It gets pretty busy around the middle of the month. The staff here is a mix of people who have been around for many years and some newer faces. We usually grab lunch from the nearby food stalls or bring it from home in tiffin boxes. The lobby of the building is always crowded with people going to different offices. Sometimes the elevator takes forever to come, which is a bit of a pain when you are running late for a meeting. We handle the distribution and sales side of things from this office. It is not a factory, just the main hub for the India side. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers pile up on the desks. It is just how it goes in a busy place like this.
