Gpt Steel Industries Ltd is based out of Mumbai. Our office is in Flat No 201, Ashoka B Wing, which is just off Yari Road in Versova. It’s an interesting spot because Versova is known for many things, but we are here focused on the steel business. It’s not a factory; it’s more of the administrative side where we handle the deals and the numbers. We’ve been in this flat for a while. It’s a bit cramped with all the filing cabinets, but it serves its purpose. Dealing with steel is a heavy business, even if we are just sitting in an office. Prices change every day and you have to keep a close eye on everything. We aren't some fancy corporate headquarters with a view of the ocean. We are just a team of people working in a regular building. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, and we have to take the stairs. That’s just life in Mumbai. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to write "About Us" pages, so we just tell it like it is. We buy and sell steel, and we make sure the logistics are handled. It’s a lot of back-and-forth on the phone with suppliers and buyers. Versova is a lively neighborhood, so there’s always some noise from the street, but we just get on with our work.
