Govind Transport

Govind Transport is situated at 40/15 B in the P M.G.P. Colony. We are located in Andheri East, right in a spot called Gulchaman Gali. It’s pretty close to Poonam Nagar, which is the main landmark for most people trying to find us. Our office is a small room on the ground floor. It’s usually filled with the sound of trucks outside and people talking about routes. We’ve been operating out of this colony for years. It’s a bit of a maze back here in Gulchaman Gali, but once you know the way, it’s easy enough. We don't have any polished furniture or fancy rugs. It’s just desks, chairs, and a lot of logbooks. The walls have maps pinned up and there’s always a pot of tea on the go. We are a small team and we do everything ourselves. Sometimes things get a bit messy when we are busy, but we manage. The road outside can be quite dusty, especially during the dry season. We don’t really care much for marketing or having a big presence. We just focus on getting things from one place to another. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking on drivers. It’s a hard job, but it’s what we know. If you come by, you’ll likely see us sitting around the main desk.
