Silkroute Mumbai

Silkroute Mumbai is based in Govandi East. We are in Office No. 202 of the Sai Commercial Building on B. K. S. Devashi Marg. It’s a regular commercial building with a lot of different offices inside. Being on the second floor gives us a bit of a view of the street, which is always busy. Govandi East is a pretty active area, and the road outside our building usually has a lot of trucks and cars. We spend our days handling the various details of our business from this office. It’s not a huge space, but it’s enough for our small team to get things done. We don't go in for anything too flashy. The walls are mostly covered in calendars and maps. Most of our work is done through emails and phone calls. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the paperwork piles up when we have a lot of orders coming through at once. Sai Commercial Building is a decent place to be because everything we need is nearby. We’ve gotten to know the other people in the building over the years. We just show up every morning, unlock the door to 202, and start working. It’s a simple life and a simple way of doing business. We don't make big promises, we just try to do the work right. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we take the stairs. It’s just one of those little things you deal with every day in Mumbai.
