GOSAR CHHEDA & ASSOCIATES LLP is located in Dadar East. You can find us at Shwesh House on Hindu Colony Lane 2. We are on the first floor in room 102. Dadar is a real crossroads in Mumbai, so it is a handy place for us to be located. We are basically a group of associates who handle accounting and business advisory stuff for small firms. It is a lot of numbers and spreadsheets most days of the week. The office has that old-school feel to it, which we actually quite like. It’s not all glass and steel like the new towers popping up everywhere. We’ve been working together for a while and we have a routine that works for us. People in the neighborhood know us, and we get a lot of local business through word of mouth. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most people find us because they know someone we helped before with their books. We try to be honest about what can and cannot be done. If we can't help with something, we'll tell you straight. Our desks are usually piled with folders and there is always a pot of tea going somewhere in the back. It is a relaxed place to work, even when we are busy with tax deadlines. We like being in Hindu Colony because it has a bit of character compared to the more clinical business districts. It feels like a real community here and we are glad to be part of it.
