We are over here at No. 203 in the Highway Commerce Center. It is on the second floor, and the building is right on I. B Patel Road in Goregaon East. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how the traffic gets during the rush hours, but we have been here for a while now. Most days it is just us handling the paperwork and making sure the orders move like they are supposed to. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that, just a regular office where we get things done. The fans are usually running because it gets stuffy in the afternoons. People come by to talk about shipments and we usually have tea while we figure out the logistics. It is a lot of back and forth with suppliers and making sure the items are right before they go out. Goregaon East has changed a lot lately, but our corner of the building stays pretty much the same. We focus on the import and export side of things, dealing with the local rules and all the small details that come with moving goods. It isn't always exciting, honestly, it is a lot of checking lists and making phone calls. Sometimes the elevators in the center take forever so we just use the stairs if we are in a hurry. We just try to keep the business moving and stay on top of the daily tasks that pile up on the desks.
