Giriraj Steel

Giriraj Steel is located at Shop No 8 in Shamal Bhavan, which is on Dr De Girgaon Anekal Road. We are quite close to the Alankar Theatre, so that's usually the landmark we tell people to look for. Our shop isn't very large, but we keep it filled with whatever steel items we have in stock at the moment. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we get a big shipment in. The area is always busy with traffic and people walking to the theatre or the shops nearby. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. We usually open up in the morning and stay until the evening, dealing with whoever walks through the door. It’s mostly local contractors or builders who come to us. We don't really do any big marketing or anything like that. We just focus on keeping the inventory right and helping people find the sizes they need. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a while. The building itself, Shamal Bhavan, is an old one but it’s sturdy. We like being in this part of town because it’s central for our customers. We just do our work, manage the shop, and try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible throughout the week. It’s a basic shop but we manage to stay quite busy with the local crowd.
