Operating Giri Raj Travels & Cool Cab Services keeps us on our toes all day and night. We are based out of Bandra East, specifically near the Navrang Cinema Road. If you live around here, you know how crowded it gets when a movie lets out. Our days usually start really early, sometimes before the sun is even up, checking the cars and making sure there is enough fuel for the trips. Bandra is a maze of small lanes and big roads, and we’ve spent a lot of time learning every single one of them. It's not just about driving, it’s about watching the traffic and knowing when the bridge is going to be jammed. We spend a lot of time sitting in the office or by the cars near the cinema, just waiting for the next call to come in. The weather in Mumbai can be tough on the vehicles, so we spend a lot of time cleaning off the dust or dealing with the rain during monsoon. It's a simple setup we have here. We aren't trying to be some big corporate fleet, just some guys with cars trying to help people get to the airport or wherever they need to go. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually eat lunch in peace. We just take it as it comes, one trip at a time, day after day.
