Vraj Impex

Our place is in the Waknis Building, Shop No. 14, over on Tatya Gharpure Marg in Girgaum. Girgaum is one of those old Mumbai neighborhoods where everything feels a bit crowded but familiar. The building itself has that classic look you find in this part of town. We’ve been operating Vraj Impex from here for a while. The street outside can get quite narrow, especially when the local delivery vans are trying to park. It’s a lively area with plenty of small shops and people walking by at all hours. We have a simple routine here. We open up, check the mail, and start on the orders. It’s not a huge office, just enough space for what we need. Sometimes the humidity in Girgaum gets a bit much, so we keep the fans going all day long. Getting to work involves navigating through the lanes, but you get used to it after a few months. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have lived here for decades. There is a certain rhythm to the day in this part of Mumbai. We don't have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. It is just a door and a desk and some chairs for when people stop by to discuss business. We stay focused on the tasks at hand and try to keep things organized despite the limited space we have in the building. It’s just us doing our thing in this old corner of the city.
