Giri Impex

Giri Impex is tucked away in Khotachi Wadi on Vp Road in the Girgaum area. This is a very old and traditional part of Mumbai, known for its narrow lanes and heritage houses. Our office is located in one of these spots, which gives it a very different feel compared to a modern glass building. It is a quiet corner most of the time, though the main road nearby is always buzzing with people and traffic. We deal with various import and export goods from this small base. The space we have is quite compact, so we have to be very organized with our files and equipment. There are just a few of us working here, and we’ve known each other for a long time. We don't have a big sign or any fancy entrance. It’s just a place where we sit and handle our daily business tasks. Girgaum is a tight-knit community, and we like being part of it. The work involves a lot of back-and-forth communication with shipping agents and suppliers. Sometimes it feels a bit slow when we are waiting on paperwork, but other days are hectic. The old wooden stairs in the building can be a bit creaky, and the rooms have high ceilings. It’s a very simple setup without any modern frills, but it works for us. We just focus on getting the impex jobs done properly every day.
