Our business is located in Malad West, specifically over at 6th Cross, number 202. Being in this part of Mumbai means things are always moving fast and it can get pretty crowded on the streets. Dealing with steel in a place with so much humidity means we are always keeping an eye on the stock and making sure everything is stored as well as it can be. We have a warehouse area and a small office that usually has a few stacks of papers and blueprints scattered across the desks. It involves a lot of heavy lifting and careful coordination to make sure the delivery trucks can get in and out of the narrow cross street without making the local traffic even worse than it already is. We have a few workers who have been with us for a long time and they really understand the way the steel business operates. We don't spend money on fancy brochures or big ads. Most of our customers come to us because they heard about our work from someone else or they just saw our sign while walking by. Malad has changed a lot since we started out, with many more tall buildings going up where there used to be open space. It gets quite noisy when we are moving the heavy beams around, but the neighbors are mostly used to it by now. We drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and just keep working until the sun goes down.
