Gautam Metals

Gautam Metals is located in Mulund East, specifically at C/O, 6, Siddhi Vinayak Apartment on Mithaghar X Road. It’s a bit unusual because we are based in an apartment building rather than a standard commercial shopfront. This gives the place a much more personal feel. Mithaghar X Road is a busy enough street, but once you step into the Siddhi Vinayak building, it gets a lot quieter. We use the space to manage our metal business, which means there are often samples of different materials lying on the tables or stacked in the corners. It’s not a huge office, but it serves our needs perfectly well for now. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood—kids playing or people talking in the hallways—which is different from being in a cold office block. We like the local vibe of Mulund East. It’s a place where people actually live and work in the same vicinity. Our neighbors know us as the metal folks in unit six. We don't have a big neon sign outside, just a small nameplate. Most of our work is done over the phone or through meetings elsewhere, but this is our home base. It’s where the planning happens and where we keep our records. The lighting is just standard domestic lights, and we have a small kitchen area for making tea. It’s a very grounded way to run a business like Gautam Metals. We focus on the details and stay connected to the community.
