Ganesh Tea Enterprises

Ganesh Tea Enterprises is located at 103 Ghatkopar Nilyog Square, which is right at Patel Chowk. It is very easy to find because it is directly opposite the railway station. Being so close to the station means there is always a crowd and a lot of noise outside our door. The office is not very big, and we spend most of our time dealing with bags of tea. There is a distinct smell of dry tea leaves that hits you as soon as you walk inside. We have stacks of different tea varieties piled up in the corners. We mostly deal with local shopkeepers and traders who come by to see what we have in stock. The building itself, Nilyog Square, is quite busy with other small businesses. We’ve been here for a while now and we know most of the people working in the nearby shops. It’s a straightforward business, really. We get the tea in, we sort it out, and then we send it where it needs to go. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a lot of manual work moving the crates and bags around, but that is just how it is. We drink plenty of tea ourselves throughout the day while we sit at the old wooden desks and check our lists.
