Ganesh Fabrication Works

Our workshop is at Plot No. W-246 in the MIDC area of Ambad. Being in an industrial zone like this means we are surrounded by other shops and factories. It’s a noisy place, but that’s fine because we make plenty of noise ourselves. We do fabrication for all sorts of things, mostly heavy stuff that people need for their own businesses. Ambad is a big area, but W-246 is our home. The shed is large enough to handle some pretty big frames. We don't have a front desk or a lobby. People just walk right into the work area. The floors are concrete and usually covered in metal shavings. We use heavy-duty welders and grinders every day. It’s a lot of standing and bending. The heat in the summer gets intense inside the shed, so we drink a lot of water. We’ve been at this plot for a while and the neighbors are all doing similar work. We help each other out with tools sometimes. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s steady. We don't spend time on the internet or making brochures. Our work is sitting right there in the yard for anyone to see. We just stick to the drawings and make sure the welds are strong. MIDC Ambad is where we belong, among the machines and the metal. We just keep our heads down and finish the day’s work without making a big fuss about things. It is what it is, just a hard day of welding and cutting.
