Gandhi Special Tubes Limited

We spend our time at Jariwala Mansion on K.M. Munshi Marg. It is an old building, but it works for what Gandhi Special Tubes Limited does every day. Most mornings start with checking the logs and seeing what tubes need to go out. The street outside gets busy pretty early. You can hear the city waking up while we are moving things around inside. We have been at 43 K.M. Munshi Marg for a while now. It’s not a fancy office with glass walls, just a place where work gets done. Sometimes the fans are loud, and the paperwork piles up on the desks. We deal with specific types of tubes and that takes up most of our headspace. People come in and out, asking about orders or just dropping off deliveries. It’s a lot of metal and a lot of counting. We try to keep things organized, though it gets messy when a big shipment arrives. There is a specific smell to the place, a mix of old paper and metal, which you get used to after a few days. The tea man comes by around ten, and that’s usually the highlight of the morning. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just the workspace and the people who have been here for years. It’s a practical setup for Gandhi Special Tubes Limited. We just focus on the tasks right in front of us until it is time to head home.
