Newtrack Computers Pvt. Ltd. is tucked away in Shop No 209 at Gandhi Bhuvan. If you know Chunam Lane on Lamington Road, you know how packed and frantic it can get. We are right in the thick of it. Lamington Road is the kind of place where you can find almost any electronic part if you look hard enough, and we’ve been part of that chaos for years. Our shop isn't very large—space is tight in Gandhi Bhuvan—so we have boxes stacked up high and parts everywhere. It might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We spend our days dealing with computer hardware, fixing motherboards, and talking to all sorts of people who wander in from the street. It’s a loud, energetic environment, and there’s never a dull moment. We don't really do much in the way of advertising because word of mouth on this road is usually enough. People know that we are here and that we’ve been doing this for a long time. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon rush. It’s a very manual, hands-on type of business. We’re just regular folks who happen to know a lot about how computers work inside and out. It’s a bit of a grind sometimes, but we like being right here in the middle of all the action in Mumbai.
