We've been here at shop number seven on Kalvadevi Road for a good while now. The building is old, Door 115/117, right in the middle of Vithalwadi. It gets pretty crowded around here during the day, so things move a bit slow sometimes. Most people know us because they walk past while doing their shopping in the market. It’s just a small place, nothing fancy at all. We open up early and try to get things sorted before the heat kicks in. There are a lot of desks inside and paper everywhere, but that is just how we work. Sometimes the lights flicker a bit, but we just keep going. Usually, there's a guy outside selling tea and that keeps us awake. If you are looking for us, look for the sign that’s a bit faded. The stairs are narrow, so watch your step coming in. We handle what we need to handle and go home when the sun goes down. Most of the people coming in are regulars who live nearby or have shops on the same street. It is a noisy area but we like the energy. It’s been this way for years and we don’t plan on changing much. We just do the work that comes our way and try to be fair with everyone who stops by. It’s a simple setup, just us and the daily rush.
