Our place, Gadhia Solar Energy Systems Pvt. Ltd., is up on Level 7 of the A/C Market building in Tardeo. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy Tardeo can get, especially around the market area. Being on the seventh floor gives us a bit of a break from the noise on the street, though you can still hear the city hum. We’ve been working with solar energy systems for a good while. The office at unit 01 is where we keep all our records and meet with people. It’s not a massive corporate headquarters, just a functional space where we can focus. We spend a lot of time looking at designs and talking about how to get these systems installed properly. Mumbai weather can be tough with the humidity, but we’re used to it. The A/C Market is a landmark for many, so it’s not too hard to tell people where to find us. We don’t go in for big speeches about saving the planet; we just think solar makes sense for a lot of folks and we try to help them get it set up. Most days involve a lot of phone calls and looking over technical details. We’re a small team, and we all pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s filing papers or talking to engineers. It’s a straightforward way to run a business in a very busy city, and we have been doing it this way for years.
