G S Shetty International School is located over in Bhandup West. To find us, you have to head into the Kukreja Complex on Village Road. Mumbai is always moving fast, and this part of town is no different. We have the 400078 zip code. The school is right there in the middle of everything. We spend a lot of time just managing the schedule and making sure the kids are where they need to be. It’s a bit of a maze inside the complex if you aren't used to it. The staff mostly talks about the commute or what they are having for lunch. It’s a very normal environment. We have the usual chalkboards, or whiteboards actually, and rows of desks that always seem to get moved out of place. Village Road stays pretty busy with cars and people walking to work. Sometimes we look out the window at the Kukreja Complex and just see the daily hustle of Mumbai. It isn't a quiet place, but schools rarely are. We just try to keep things running smoothly without too much fuss. There is always some paperwork to do or a parent coming in with a question. We don't use any fancy scripts when we talk to people, we just tell them how it is. It’s a decent place to work and the kids seem to stay busy enough with their studies. Most of the people working here have been around for quite a few years now.
