G. M. Breweries Limited

Our place is Ganesh Niwas, which sits right on S. Veer Savarkar Marg in the Prabhadevi area of Dadar West. G. M. Breweries Limited has been operating from here for a long time, and the building feels like it’s seen a lot of history. It’s not a shiny corporate office. It’s more of a practical space where we get things done. Prabhadevi is a crowded part of the city, and the street outside is always full of people, cars, and the occasional festival procession. Inside, it’s mostly just us trying to keep the brewery business moving. We have a lot of files and the furniture is pretty basic. It’s a bit noisy because of the location, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of the staff comes in by train to Dadar and then walks or takes a short cab ride. We don’t have a big fancy sign or a lobby with a receptionist. You just walk in and someone will probably ask you what you need. It’s a very local way of doing business. We deal with the production and the logistics of the drinks we make. Sometimes the office feels a bit cramped when we have a lot of deliveries scheduled, but we manage. We aren’t really into the whole corporate lifestyle with long lunches. We usually just eat at our desks or go to the small stalls nearby. It’s a busy, honest sort of life here in this neighborhood.
