G L Sopariwala & Co has been operating out of Mumbai Central for a lot of years. We are located over in Sector 23, right in the heart of Transport Nagar. If you know that area, you know it’s always moving. Trucks coming in, people loading things, lots of shouting and dust. Our office isn’t much to look at, just a practical space where we handle our business every day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the decades, but the way we do things stays mostly the same. We deal with what we know, and we try to do it right. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls, making sure everything is where it needs to be. Being in Transport Nagar means we are right in the middle of the action. It’s not a quiet place to work, but we like the energy. Most of the people we work with have been our associates for a long time. There is a certain way of doing business here that you don't find in the newer parts of Mumbai. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just us, the shop, and the daily grind. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it’s just a slow afternoon watching the traffic go by. We’re just a local company trying to keep things moving day after day.
