Freight Carriers Pvt.Ltd. is located inside Behramji Mansion on Sir P.M.Rd. This building has a lot of character, the kind you only find in the older parts of the city. Sir P.M.Rd is a very central location, so it's easy for us to get to work every morning. The mansion has high ceilings and thick walls that keep it relatively cool, even when it’s sweltering outside. Our office isn't one of those modern glass boxes. It has wooden floors that creak a little when you walk over certain spots. We like the history of the place. Being at Freight Carriers Pvt.Ltd. means being surrounded by books and ledgers and the sound of the ceiling fans spinning overhead. There is a sense of permanence here. We look out of the windows and see the heritage buildings across the street. It’s not a quiet place, as the sounds of the city are always present, but it’s a good environment for focusing on the job. We have our desks arranged so everyone has enough light. Sometimes the elevator in Behramji Mansion is a bit temperamental, so a lot of us just take the stairs. It keeps us moving. We don't have a big reception area or anything like that. You just walk in and see everyone at work. It's a very straightforward, no-frills kind of office that suits us just fine.
