Shreem Overseas

Our office for Shreem Overseas is located at Number 19 on Bank Street Cross Lane. It is right across from the Old Customs House in the Fort area, which is a very famous part of town. This part of Mumbai is full of old buildings and very narrow streets. If you are coming here for the first time, it might take you a moment to find the right lane because they all look a bit similar. The building we are in has a lot of character. It has high ceilings and the kind of walls that stay cool even when it is boiling outside. We do not have any modern office furniture or bright LED lights. Everything is very basic and functional. We have our desks pushed up against the walls and stacks of papers that we need to go through every day. The sound of the city is always there in the background, but it feels a bit distant because of how the building is tucked away in the cross lane. We mostly deal with overseas work, so we are often on the phone or typing out long emails. There is a small place nearby that makes really good tea, and we usually get a few cups brought up during the afternoon. It is a busy life but we have gotten used to the pace of Fort. We do not try to make the place look like something it isn't. It is just a workspace where we come to do our jobs.
