Reliable Impex

Reliable Impex is located in Fort, specifically in Malhotra House on the first floor. We are right across from the GPO, which is handy when you have as much mail as we do. The building is one of those old Mumbai structures with high ceilings and a bit of a draft in the winter. We spend our time managing import and export details for all sorts of items. It isn’t glamorous work. There are a lot of phone calls to ports and checking on customs status. Being in Fort means everything feels fast, even if the paperwork moves slow. We have a small team here. Sometimes the lift in Malhotra House acts up, so we just take the stairs. It’s good for a bit of exercise anyway. Our desks are usually covered in manifests and invoices. We don’t have a flashy showroom or anything like that because that's not how we work. People stop by to drop off documents or talk about shipping routes. It is mostly about getting the logistics right so things don't get stuck at the docks. The area is always crowded with people heading to the station or the post office. We just stay focused on our corner of the office. It’s a practical place for a practical business. No more, no less. Just working through the daily pile of trade tasks and trying to stay organized.
