Pravati Expts & Impts

Our business, Pravati Expts & Impts, is located in the Priyadarshini Building. It’s a straightforward setup where we handle both the importing and exporting side of things. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place with desks and filing cabinets where we do our daily work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or sending emails to coordinate with people across the country and sometimes overseas. Importing and exporting involves a lot of waiting around for clearances and that can be a bit stressful at times. We have to keep track of a lot of different moving parts and it’s easy for things to get complicated if we aren't careful. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to handle our orders properly and keep things moving. The building is usually quite busy and we have been here for a while now so we know the routine. Most days are about checking lists, talking to shipping companies, and making sure the inventory matches what we have on paper. We don’t use a lot of big words or fancy talk because that’s not who we are. We just focus on the practical side of the business and try to deal with any issues as they come up. It’s a lot of work but it keeps us busy and we like the challenge of it.
