Ashyde Impex Pvt. Ltd. is located right in the middle of the Fort area on Sir P. M. Road. If you know Mumbai, you know how packed this part of town gets during the day. Our office is on the second floor of Gotawala Chamber. We actually have four different rooms there, numbered nine through twelve. It is a bit of a labyrinth sometimes moving between them with all the paperwork we have to handle. The building itself has that old Mumbai character that you don't see much in the newer parts of the city. We spend our days dealing with impex matters, which basically means a lot of checking lists and talking to vendors. The traffic outside on the road is constant, and you can hear the horns honking all through the afternoon. There isn't much space for anything extra, so we just focus on the tasks at hand. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we have a rhythm down. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People who need us usually know where to find us in the Gotawala building. It is a simple setup, and it works for what we do. By the time evening rolls around, we’re all ready to catch our trains and head back home. The rooms are quiet then, just waiting for the next morning to start it all over again.
