Firoz Ansari

My name is Firoz and I work out of Haines Road over here in Sanjay Gandhi Nagar. It’s a busy part of the city and there’s always something going on right outside the door. I’ve been doing this kind of work for years and I don’t see myself doing anything else. It’s a simple life, really. I wake up, get to the workspace, and see what needs fixing or doing for the day. This neighborhood is where I’ve spent a lot of my time, so I know most of the faces that walk by. It’s not a big corporate operation with fancy logos or anything like that. It’s just me and maybe some help if the job is too big for one person. People come by when they have a problem or need something specific made or handled. I try to be fair with everyone and just do an honest day’s work. The address can be a bit tricky to find if you aren't from around here, but once you get to Sanjay Gandhi Nagar, someone will usually point you toward Haines Road. I don’t spend much time on the computer or writing long things, I’d rather be working with my hands. It’s loud and dusty sometimes, but it’s my spot. I like that people know they can come to me without any fuss or complicated paperwork. We just talk about the job and get started.
