Firangi Paani

Firangi Paani is over here in Bandra East, right on Parvat Patia Parvat Gam Road. It’s a long name for a street, and sometimes people get a bit confused finding us. The area has changed a lot since we first opened. There’s more traffic now and more buildings going up. We open up in the evening when it starts to get a little cooler. The lights inside are a bit dim because that’s just how we like it. It’s a place where people come to sit after they finish their jobs. We hear a lot of stories from the regulars who come in every Friday. I usually stand behind the counter or move chairs around to make space. It gets loud when the music is on, but nobody seems to mind. Sometimes we run out of certain things and have to tell people we’re sorry. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us and the staff trying to keep things running smoothly. The kitchen is small, so the cooks have to be quick with the snacks. On rainy days, the water pools up a bit near the entrance, and we have to put out mats so nobody slips. It’s not a perfect setup, but it works for what we need. Bandra is a busy place, and we are just glad to have a spot here to do our thing every day.
