You can find us at 32 Grant Road, over in the Orient Shopping Plaza. We are on the 7th Main in the 4th Block, which is quite close to the Shalimar Cinema. Having the cinema nearby is great because people often stop in before or after their movie to look at our selection. Our shop is filled with all kinds of frames and lenses. We have a small area where we check people's eyes, and then a bunch of racks where they can try on different glasses. It gets a bit busy on the weekends when the plaza is full of shoppers. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass displays because of the fingerprints. It’s just part of the job. Grant Road always has a lot of energy, and we like being right in the middle of it. We are not a big chain store, just a local spot where we know a lot of our customers by name. Sometimes people just come in to get their frames tightened or a screw replaced, and we are happy to help with that. The shop has a nice view of the street, so we can see what is happening outside. It is a simple place where we try to help people see a bit better. We have been here at the plaza for a while and have seen many shops come and go. We keep a small radio playing in the corner just to have some background noise while we work.
