Famous Steel

We’ve been here at No.35 on 5th Khumbharwada for quite a while now. If you walk down Maruti Mandir Marg, you’ll find us right in the middle of all the noise and activity. Famous Steel isn't a fancy place with a glass front or anything like that. It’s a workspace where we deal with metal every day. Sometimes the street gets really crowded with trucks and people moving things back and forth, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of steel orders for people nearby and some from further away too. It gets hot inside during the summer, especially with the machines running, but we just get on with the work. The shop floor is usually covered in offcuts and dust, but we know where everything is. It’s a local operation, nothing too complicated. We just focus on getting the steel cut and moved out to whoever needs it. You might have to step over a few things if you come by the office, but the tea across the street is good. Most of the guys here have been working with steel for years, so they know the material well. We don't spend much time on fancy paperwork if we can help it. Just straight-up metal work day in and day out. That’s pretty much the story of our shop here. It's not a lot to look at, but we get the job done.
