Fab Embroiders

We are over at the Plaza Shopping Centre, room number 313. It is right on Shierif Devji Street in the Chakla area, which is always packed with people and carts. Our shop is dedicated to embroidery, so there is always the constant hum of the needles going up and down. It can get quite loud in the small space, but you stop noticing it after an hour or two. We have different colored threads lined up against the wall, and they’re always getting tangled if we aren't careful. It’s very detailed work, so we have to stay focused even when it’s hot inside. We don’t have much room for anything other than the machines and a small desk for the bills. The shopping centre is an old building, and it can be a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. We’ve been here a long time, so we know all the other shopkeepers in the hallway. We don’t do any big advertising, we just wait for people to bring their fabric to us. Sometimes we stay late to finish a complicated pattern, drinking tea while we watch the machines do their thing. It’s not an easy job on the eyes, but we take pride in not making too many mistakes. It's just what we do every day.
