Eyelite Luminaries

You can find Eyelite Luminaries up on the 3rd floor of the Lawyer's Chambers. We are at number 26 on Picket Road, which is right in the middle of Lohar Chawl. If you’ve ever been to this part of Mumbai, you know how hectic it gets with all the shops and people moving boxes around. Our office is a bit of a climb, but once you’re up here, it’s a bit quieter than the street level. We deal with all sorts of lighting and luminaries. The room is filled with different samples and catalogs. It’s not a large space, so we have to be careful about where we stack things. Sometimes the elevator in the building is acting up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We’ve been operating out of this Lohar Chawl location for some time now. It’s where the heart of the electrical trade is, so it makes sense for us to be here. We don’t really do much in the way of fancy displays. It’s more about sitting down at the desk, taking orders, and talking to the suppliers. We drink a lot of tea while we work. The windows are usually open to let some air in, and you can hear the sounds of the market below all day long. It's a practical way to run things, and it works for us. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily grind.
