We have been here at Nariman Point for quite a while now. Most of our days are spent up on the 7th floor of the Chander Mukhi building. It’s a busy place with a lot of offices packed together. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know how it is. People are always rushing around the lobby. We mostly focus on our desks and the paperwork that comes with securities work. The elevators here take forever sometimes, which is a bit of a local joke among the people who work in this building. You can see the city stretching out if you look out the windows on a clear day, but usually, we are just looking at computer screens. It’s just a regular office setup. Nothing too fancy. We’ve got a small team here. We try to keep things organized despite the constant phone calls and emails. Lunchtime usually means going downstairs to find something quick or just eating at the desk when things get hectic. Being in such a central spot means there is always noise from the street, even seven floors up. It’s part of the routine. We just get on with the work day after day. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do. The Chander Mukhi building has its quirks, like the way the hallway smells sometimes or the specific sound the air conditioning makes, but it’s home for Express Securities Pvt. Ltd.
