Exide Point

The shop is located right in Borivali Phase 1, and you can usually tell where we are because of the stacks of black casings near the entrance. It is a bit cramped inside with all the stock we have to keep on hand. People usually show up here feeling a bit frustrated because their car or inverter stopped working at the worst possible time. We understand that feeling. Most of our morning is spent checking terminals or hooking things up to the chargers. It is heavy work, moving these units around all day, so we mostly wear old clothes that we don't mind getting a bit of grease on. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it is hot outside. We have been in this spot for a good bit of time, so the locals know to just pull up at the curb. There isn't much room for a waiting area, so folks usually stand around and chat with us while we check their old units. Sometimes we have to tell people a part is just done for, and other times it just needs a good charge. We don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is. It's just batteries and cables. The street outside can get quite loud with the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We just keep the fan running and get through the day’s work one job at a time at Exide Point.
