Excel Metal & Engg Industries is located right in the heart of the metal market area, over on 3rd Kumbharwada Lane. Our address is No. 177/181 in the Jt Building on Dr. M. G Mahimtura Marg. If you know this part of town, you know it is always crowded and full of activity. We have been handling metal parts and engineering supplies from this same spot for a long time. The building is quite old, and the stairs are narrow, but it has a lot of history to it. We spend the day dealing with various metal components, checking measurements, and talking to the workshop guys about what needs to be done. It is often noisy because of all the nearby workshops, but we are used to it by now. We do not have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by stock and old ledgers piled on the desks. Sometimes it feels like we are running out of room, but we make it work. Customers come in looking for specific parts, and we usually have to dig through the shelves to find exactly what they need. It is a lot of manual work, moving heavy items around and making sure the counts are correct. We do not use much technology here, just the basics to keep the business going. It is a traditional way of doing things, and it works for us and the people who buy from us.
